Responsibilities include managing the health insurance hotline for the agency. Able to handle high pressure phone calls, politely and professionally, while answering callers questions and educating the consumer. Appointments are made with appropriate Field Navigators, ensuring consumer knows exactly what information to bring to appointment. Directions to facilities are given for each appointment. All consumers that need assistance elsewhere are given the proper referral information to direct them to their preferred outcome. Data entry on all consumers I meet with or refer out to other agencies must be completed within 24 hours of contact with the consumer.
