Description:
• Designed original pieces of art, using pen and ink, watercolor, acrylic, and digital software (Photoshop and Corel Painter). Creating original ideas, and developing new designs and concepts, such as logos and art pieces.
• Developing and processing, packaging/matting prints of original pieces of digital and fine art. Visualization of final product, printing certificate of authenticity for copies of work. Creating independent work of various paintings and illustrations.
• Active communication and decision-making in production of designs of products for the business. Quality-control inspection and managing/accounting of inventory. Handling of supplies and transportation of supplies and art pieces of the business.
• Tools and technology used: computer, digital camera, laser printer/scanner, Photoshop, Microsoft Excel, WACOM digital/graphic tablet, various brushes, inks, and paints.
Art Business Experience:
Co-owner and Lead Artist of MK ME Design LLC, a company that sells original design T-shirts, mugs, prints, and canvases. Manages and process product inventory and sales as a vendor at Norfolk Navy Exchange. In addition, an active participant in several arts and craft fairs around.
