My name is Sheila. I am a HR Generalist of 15 years and developer and editor of newsletters, flyers, memo posts, etc. I love to proofread and edit and I thoroughly adding colorful flavor to memos, announcements, flyers and the like.
Professionally, I am the go-to person in my department for 'fixing up' memos and notices to employees and/or management. I edit job descriptions, create job posting ads, create, proof and edit notices to our employee population.
Outside of the 9 to 5, I assist a writer, songwriter and entertainer (also my husband) with administrative duties including typing song lyrics, editing emails, creating and maintaining his bio and social media posts.
I am a flexible person. While I am a stickler for correct grammar usage and proper sentence structure and correct word choice, I also enjoy the colorfulness of colloquial language and gestures as they express the diversity of cultures. In college, English was my minor and in high school English was my major. Neither was intentional, they just happeded that way from the courses I was drawn to.
