RESUME BIANCA PEREIRA
OBJECTIVE
My passion for the arts in all forms is what drives me to apply for this position I have worked in the arts for over 15 years, and always with the same objective and that was to be able to pass on the gift of art, whether it be through artworks and props for theaters, sculptures and painting for public arts or through teaching at Tafe and most recently disability communities, and pop up classrooms.
My philosophy has always been “don’t let the lack of correct materials or lack of ability stop you from creating, harness what's missing and a new creation will form.
Some of my best ideas have come from this belief.
I enjoy the interaction with different people through my artwork and putting a smile on their face gives me a small sense that I got a little something right
Illustrating children's books has been a dream of mine for a long time and I ask that you allow me the opportunity to stretch my imagination and hopefully give you something beautiful and useful, that will once again be enjoyed by others
EXPERIENCE
Camp Summit 2001-2002 (1 year)
Pottery teacher camp America USA (3 months),- duties included , lessons on the pottery wheel , making slip clay for casting various molds, guiding the students in different paint and glaze techniques, and firing of the kiln
Kids entertainment company 2006-2007 (2 years)
Various kids activities including balloon twisting and face painting.kit creation, training and on site work
The creation of plaster casts made from various moulds for kids painting activities.
Plumb Construction and Design-Props master (10 years)
Props Master-duties are diverse and never the same, however my role is to create any prop or fine art that needs to be made, and any special effect painting that needs to be done whilst working to a timeframe and budget, I've worked with all kinds of mediums from fiberglassing , silicones , wood, and soft fabrics to name a few.
I also have encountered all kinds of job requests such as puppet construction , scenic painting and faux paint finishes for theatre and private clients, sculpture in public arts and private company's as well as mould making and the creation of fine art originals to name a few.
Central Tafe- 2014- Current Casual (1 year)
Scenic Painting Teacher duties are to guide students in various methods and materials to achieve scenic art for film and theater.
Delivery of theory as well as lesson plans on finishes and techniques such as faux marbling wood grain. Theory in scale and projects created to include props to name a few.
Disability WA (1 year)
Ceramics and pottery activity officer, operating kiln to fire green ware , and understanding of ceramic painting techniques and glazing.
Let's get arty ( 6 months)
Pop up classrooms targeted at groups who wish to learn a specify technique or skill,lessons can be tailor designed and educational, or customized for large events such as festivals and shows.
SKILL SET- can follow and replicate items or can create new original pieces in the following materials and techniques
FIBERGLASSING , RESIN CASTING, PLASTER CASTING.
SILICONE MOULDS , BODY MOULDS, REPLICATING OBJECTS.
SCREEN-PRINTING

PAINTING, OIL, WATERCOLORS , INKS, ACRYLICS, RESINS and STILL EXPERIMENTING
SCENIC PAINTING, CARTOON IMAGES, FINE ART PAINTING,
DRAWING, SKETCHES, FINE ART, PLAN DRAWINGS.
PUPPETRY SCENIC AND CONSTRUCTION TECHNIQUES.
My flexibility and eagerness for discovering new methods and materials is the reason my skills are diverse and not restricted to just one field but to many.
