I am an experienced professional with an extensive background in business writing and academic research, proof reading, training and development, and curriculum design. I also excel in all areas of office management, telephone etiquette, organizing and coordinating tasks, as well as providing excellent customer service. I possess an in-depth knowledge of daily business operations as well as dealing with a wide cross-section of clients. I have a proven ability to develop strong and meaningful relationships with a maintained focus on the best interest of the client at all times.

I am currently an online Adjunct Instructor (Academic Facilitator) and Academic Assistant with a number of colleges. I teach Human Resources Management, Marketing Management, and American Civil War. In the capacity of an Academic Assistant I am assigned to professors as an online Teaching Assistant and Academic Coach to Undergraduate and Graduate degree seeking students. I serve as a course facilitator and grader, while the university faculty member is the teacher of record. I serve as the liaison between the university faculty member and students. As an Academic Coach, I am the student's initial point of contact, and acts in the same fashion as a traditional teaching assistant does in a university’s on campus class. I am responsible to monitor student engagement, facilitate course content, grade all weekly assignments, provide comprehensive feedback and online student support, and regularly collaborate with university faculty. I have had assignments with professors at various State and Private Universities where I am the assistant for various courses including: International Management, Managing Change in Organizational Systems, Introduction to Business, Organizational Behavior and Management, Decision Making in Operations Management, Introduction to Entrepreneurship, and Managerial Communication.

I have also designed and developed the course syllabus, outcomes and objectives, assignments, and discussion forum questions for a 3 credit undergraduate course for another college. The course title was “Managing a Distributed Workforce”; the primary objective of this course prepares leaders to manage a distributed workforce as more and more employees undertake their jobs in remote locations. The primary focus of the course is helping leaders meet the challenges of managing a distributed workforce through the use of best practices and tools used by successful organizations.

I am currently pursuing a doctoral degree and I have an MBA in Organizational Management. I have also completed over 45 graduate credit hours in World History; I hold a BA in Women’s Studies with a minor in History and African New World Studies as well as Diplomas and Undergraduate certificates in Business Studies and General Management.
