Internationally practicing Turkish photographer Merve Hasman was born in Zurich, Switzerland. Her passion for photography was first discovered as the first Helmut Newton book was given to her as a present. To follow her passion for photography Hasman chose to pursue her photography studies in School of Visual Arts in New York, where she was also able to experience working for a renowned fashion photographer, Steven Klein. But it was especially after working for Fabrika of successful Turkish photographer, Tamer Yilmaz that she grew as a professional, learning to manage her own business. Working with accomplished photographers (such as Steven Klein and Tamer Yilmaz) and interacting with people from internationally diverse backgrounds challenged her inspirations and enabled her to grow as a strong (enthusiastic) photographer, ready to make a difference in the world of photography. Merve Hasman continues to work as a freelance photographer as it enables her to have the opportunity to follow her dreams of becoming a world-renowned photographer.
