Work Experience

Dec 2010 To May 2011:
Paramount Media & TV Productions Ltd - PPM

As Programme Project Manager, I was responsible for new television programme planning, execution and maintenance gaining an invaluable insight into the television production process and hands on experience in a creative office environment. I was the initial point of contact for everyone involved in, or wanting to be involved, in the productions. I established professional relationships with useful industry contacts and I have, to date, overseen four local television pilot programmes.

I worked closely with the company director performing general PA duties and managed a small media team. My main duties included planning meetings, managing applications, recruitment, project management, task delegation, researching, updating the client database, general administrative tasks, marketing, producing reports such as employee performance reviews and KPI’s, diary management and overseeing every aspect of production ensuring success.

Oct 2010 To May 2011:
Whitemoss Youth Club - Volunteer

As a Voluntary Music Studio Youth Worker I taught children how to play the guitar and encouraged all aspects of creativity. This was very rewarding and I mastered a lot of new skills such as conflict resolving and teaching techniques.

2003 - 2010:
Self-Employed - Musician

With eight years of studio recording, performance, business development, artist promotion and management experience, I have extensive knowledge of the music industry. I have always been very creative, musically inclined and often liaise with the mass media and establishments.

My originality has been praised and I have performed in a number of festivals, competitions and establishments around Greater Manchester including; Moston Day festival, Midsummer Madness Festival, Party in The Park, The Willows, Make It Break It Awards, The Derby Arms, Poynton Folk Club and others

2006 – 2008
Britannia Airport Hotel - Senior Waitress

As Senior Waitress, a post I held for three years whilst also attending college, my duties included Serving food/beverages, handling complaints, meeting and greeting, bookings, taking orders, setting up/catering for functions.
