As Production/Post Manager, I have been responsible for the design and implementation of new field production and editing units for a cable/new media company. I interview, train and supervise all operations personnel, both field and post and hire freelance positions needed for special projects. In staying current with technology, I have designed specific workfows for bringing HDV and XDCAM EX solid state media and metadata as well as any still photography into the post production environment for archive, edit and ?nishing. I am in charge of creating fully produced DVDs, H.264 and VC-1 files for tapeless delivery and tape masters for archive or duplication. I also serve as a Producer/Director/Editor for most of our in-house/special productions.

I was in charge of supervising the digital effects department, I produced and designed animation and opening titles for all of our award winning national cable television series, (The New Detectives, Navy Seals, FBI Files, Movies of the Week, The Prosecutors) and special effects and motion graphics for all programs. I also served as Digital Effects Supervisor for “A Haunting”, designing and executing “Green/Blue Screen” effects for many of our shows.

I supervised a crew of 12-15 camera-people; editors, videotape operators, producers and
directors, and helped develop a program to use the extra production capacity of the Television Production Department as a finance source.
I began as a Producer/Director, creating projects for both broadcast and the award winning
Educational Services Department, with projects that ranged from under Antarctica's Ice Cap (Life on Ice)
to the International Space Station (NASA yearly teleconferences) and back to the lives of the early colonists in Jamestown, Virginia. This included writing most on-camera and voice over copy, scouting locations, blocking camera positions and interviewing some of the guest for the edited taped segments.
I received an EXCEL Award from the Hampton Roads Black Media Professionals in 1996 for
"Beyond Survival: A Town Meeting”, a live television program with produced roll-in material. I was also responsible for all on-air design, design of all program opens and bumper materials, creation of 3D animation for in-house and commercial clients.
