I am a recent University of Winnipeg graduate seeking to apply a diverse skill set in a variety of settings. I studied under the Faculty of Kinesiology and received my Bachelor of Physical and Health Education degree in June 2014. I have previous professional writing experience, working with the Asthma Society of Canada on a contract project focused on asthma, physical activity and the Air Quality Health Index, as well as in creating original content for the blog of a small business based in Colorado.
I have in-depth knowledge of the applications of social media (i.e. Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn), and am available for consulting on how to effectively integrate social media into a variety of settings. In September 2014, I co-presented a session at the BOMA Canada [Building Owners' and Managers' Association] Conference in Winnipeg, entitled "The Social Media Playground: Cultivating Community in Commercial Real Estate", which was anecdotally the most interactive session presented.
