Meni Philip, Israeli born, is an international award winning director, screenwriter and editor.
Mr. Philip’s films have screened widely at international film festivals and won numerous awards. His short film Sinner premiered at the 2009 Venice Film Festival and received the award for Best European Short Film and was nominated to the European film Academy Awards. In the following years Sinner screened in over 50 international film festivals.
Mr. Philip has substantially impacted Israel’s society with his film Let There Be Light, an autobiographical documentary about leaving the ultra-Orthodox world to a modern secular lifestyle.
Mr. Philip has worked in collaboration with some of the most respectable directors and producers in Israel, such as producer David Mandil, two-time Oscar nominee, director Joseph Cider, two-time Oscar nominee for his films Bufourt and Footnote, Avi Nesher, and Udi Aloni, Director and one of the Jury Members at Berlin Film Festival 2007.
Mr. Philip is seeking both freelance and/or traditional video editing and production employment as well as potential creative collaboration efforts with others. He is ambitious, dedicated and hardworking, carrying great integrity and honesty with all that he accomplishes and with all whom he comes in contact with. He is well accomplished and highly skilled in his area of expertise and the tools required to achieve it. Mr. Philip speaks Hebrew fluently, and English with growing ease.
