I have 6 years of experience editing for academic and professional journals, and more than 10 years teaching English, grammar, composition, and test prep around the world. I am also a PhD candidate at the University of Pennsylvania and teach at Drexel University.
Additionally, I provide academic and admissions advising to high school, college, and graduate students. In the last 3 years, my clients have earned admission to Penn, Cornell, and Columbia, among others, and have earned over $200,000 in scholarships and grants. In October 2014, I founded Ivy Academic Consultants, an editing and admissions advising company based in Dallas, Texas.
On the lighter side, I traveled and taught English in Hong Kong, India, Peru, and around the US. Now, I blog for several educational and food-related websites, and am on the consulting board for Tale Chaser Books, a children book series about animals and veterinary medicine.
