SUMMARY

For almost ten (10) years, I have been into rural development works, particularly working in the uplands and tribal communities in the province of Sarangani. In Upland Development Programme in Southern Mindanao of the Department of Agriculture (DA), a special project of the Government of the Philippines and the European Union (EU), I have been into Management Information System (MIS), mapping system, project planning, monitoring and evaluation.

Working with the Indigenous Peoples Development Program (IPDP) of the Provincial Government of Sarangani provides me a broaden background in community development, project development planning and management, implementation and monitoring, community organizing and planning, organizational development and management, community-based enterprise development, promotion of culture in tribal communities where heritage are near in its extinction, engagement in baseline studies and designing programs for community development through a participatory approach.

Trained on Leadership Skills Development, Culture of Peace, Evidence-based Management for Local Development Planning and Gender and Development.

Participated 2nd ASEAN Traditional Textile Conference held in Manila and International Conference on Heritage Houses and Vernacular Architecture of UNESCO.

Earned twenty-seven (27) units in Master in Public Administration major in Government Administration in Ateneo De Davao University.

Manage and supervise project implementation ensuring that project targets are accomplishment through a collaborative efforts with academe, national government agencies and community stakeholders;

Design, develop, and plan project and activities related to cultural researches and documentation;

Coordinate with National Government Agencies particularly National Commission of Indigenous Peoples (NCIP), National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA), National Museum of the Filipino People, National Historical Institute for collaborative researches and documentation;

Monitor and evaluate impacts of programs, projects and activities and effect necessary improvement in the design and implementation to ensure sustainability;

Facilitate community organizing/ planning or social marketing mainstreaming the researches and documentation beneficial to indigenous cultural communities;

Facilitate the conduct of baseline studies relating to tangible and intangible heritage of indigenous peoples of Sarangani;

Prepares project annual work and financial plan;

Prepare project periodic reports to Program Manager for consolidation, assessment and evaluation;

Assist the Program Manager in the execution of his/her functions;
