As a little girl, I quickly developed an appreciation for art, nature, beauty and the importance of pausing to admire creation. Tasks as a shift leader included welcoming guests throughout the week, filling out personal information on Windows computers, organizing staff in correct rooms, meeting with staff members to inform them of correct policies or policy adjustments, room inspections, occasionally removing an upset child from a room to calm him/her.
