I returned to my native Guinea as the Manager - Gérante for PRO-Telligent Security of Virginia, USA. Duties included responsibility of total start-up operation to include negotiation and acquisition of Real Estate, Vehicles, and Government Licenses. I was also responsible for procurement of all household and office furnishings, Security Personnel Equipment and for ensuring local purchases are done in accordance with the established Procurement Protocols and met all requirements of the US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.
As part of my duties I also handled all Human Recourses responsibilities to include liaising with the Ministry of Labor and our contracted Labor Broker to ensure that all Guinean Labor Laws were enforced and upheld. As a part of these responsibilities I also managed all Payroll and Personnel Employment Tax payments as well as Book keeping and Petty Cash.
Handing custom clearance for all imported shipments in Guinea including security Uniforms and equipment.
Handled administrative duties for the contracts with AGR Well Management of Aberdeen, Scotland and HyperDynamics Oil Exploration of Houston, Texas in support of their Oil Exploration and Drilling Concession in the Gulf of Guinea
Interacted daily with the Senior Management of the Program in addition to the Masters of the five (5) Tender Vessels operating between the Port of Conakry and the Oil Rig

October 2010 - I was retained by Torres Advanced Enterprise Solutions of Virginia through LionHeart Security International Consulting, LLC of Scottsdale, Arizona, to travel to Bujumbura, Burundi, for a 30-Day Assignment to assist in the training of US Embassy Security Personnel.

Verbal translation services have also been provided to visiting business personnel in meetings with Guinean Government Ministers and Ministerial Secretaries General.

I was retained by LionHeart Security International Consulting, LLC of Scottsdale, Arizona, to travel to Bujumbura, Burundi, on behalf of Torres Advanced Enterprise Solutions of Virginia to assist in the training of the new French-speaking US Embassy Security Personnel.
As this was the first US Embassy contract for Torres Advanced Enterprise Solutions in Africa, I had the opportunity to work directly with the President and CEO, Jerry Torres who was on-site to personally supervise the Program.
My primary objective was to provide instantaneous translation for the Instructors. As a secondary responsibility, I assisted in the documentation of all training courses to support the HR function and to ensure that all Personnel Training Records were up-to-date.
All Personnel were trained for several weeks in an 80-Hour Training Program that was developed by LionHeart Security. The Program included:
Guard Procedures - Baton and Self Defense Techniques - Vehicles Searching - Building Searches -Evacuation Techniques - Surveillance and Counter-Surveillance Techniques - CPR and Emergency Medical Training - Fire Fighting and Prevention - Counter-Terrorism - Use of Force - Report Writing.
During all Instruction Modules I provided instant translations from the English-speaking Instructors to the French-speaking students. I was also responsible for translating 80-Hours of Training Materials; PowerPoint Presentations, Hand-outs, and Testing Materials, from English into French.
