{About Me}
I work in traditional watercolor media (see dcondry.com) and in an alternative multi-media style (see djoshua.com). With my traditional illustrations, I like capturing a moment in a story, or even conveying an entire story through a single snap-shot captured in paint. These images often feature realistic-yet-stylized renderings of the human figure in a variety of scenes, settings, poses, and lighting situations. With my alternative illustration portfolio, my work is less narrative, more conceptual. I make use of visual symbolism in order to convey an idea or elicit a feeling.
