ARTIST

Kevin Heaney portrays the magic of the Western landscape,its people, the mystery of its ghost towns and its beautiful old architecture. Fifth generation Montanan born in Butte, raised and educated in Deer Lodge comes from a pioneer background with a strong mining influence. He attended college at Montana State University, Bozeman and University of Montana Western, Dillon where he received a B.S. Degree with an Art Major. He has taught art fifteen years at the secondary level in Montana and Nevada. Has taught art classes at University of Montana Western and Great Basin College, Elko, Nevada. Taught Art and Crafts at Anaconda Job Corps for 18 years. Retired after teaching for 33 years
Has been a producing artist since 1969.

OBJECTIVE

To be able to use my 40 years of experience, talent and skills.
My strenghs are drawing, watercolor, oil painting and acrylic painting.
I have been successful working with a wide range of students with varying levels of skills and experience throughout my 35 years as a teacher.
