VOLUNTEER TUTOR/SECRETARY MIDWAY HILLTOP CHRISTIAN ACADEMY
AUGUST 25TH, 2003 TO MAY 26TH, 2004
While attending this private grade school as the only high school student, I was given an independent curriculum that allowed for a lot of spare time during the class day. To fill my days, I volunteered my time as a fill-in secretary for the school’s elderly full-time secretary, and regularly assisted the younger children with tutoring in math, history, government, German, and Science. I also played a key role in the yearly science fair by teaching the children research methods and helping them assemble their trifold boards. This was all done while working with the Community center, as well as maintaining an A- average in all my classes.

WHERE I’VE BEEN After leaving Donkey Coffee, I attempted to build a career as a freelance artist. While moderately successful, Motherhood put the brakes on that process. I took time away from the work force to adjust to life as a wife and mother, and to give my son the best start to life possible. Now that he has become a vivacious and independent toddler, I feel prepared to step back into the work force.
