I am an Atlanta based scientist, artist and illustrator. My work has been shown in the Fernbank Museum of Natural History in Atlanta and the Telfair Museum in Savannah among other places. I have created commissioned art for clients in the United States and Europe and I am currently illustrating a children’s book about a camel. I work in both traditional and digital mediums. Prior to starting my business as an illustrator, I taught in the Environmental Studies Department at Emory University for nine years. My art training includes a certificate in Botanical Drawing from the Atlanta Botanical Gardens, coursework in the nationally acclaimed Program in Natural Science Illustration at the University of California, Santa Cruz (now at CSU Monterrey) and coursework in the Emory University graphic design certificate program.
