Who am I - Conceptual Portraiture, Fine Art and Fashion Photographer -
Introductions are always significant, this is mine:
I was born in the winter of 1986, in Witbank South Africa. As a child, I always had a vivid imagination, thrilled by music and arts in general. Although I only discovered my unbounded desire to become a photographer in 2007, the journey that brought me here started years before.
My father bought me my first Canon film camera when I was but 13 years old. Not long after a purchased a Polaroid camera. With these items, I cemented family memories, photography being no more that an inspired hobby. In 2005, my mother stumbled upon the National College of Photography’s website. Having a passion for photography herself she encouraged me to enroll for the course. Since attending NCoP I have discovered a means of releasing my desire for artistic freedom, a canvas for my vivid imagination. I live in a Faerie tale; seeing the world as a mythical landscape, and having the ability to share my Dreams are extraordinary.
This being said I can truthfully add that my obsession is far from obsolete, my zeal and love for photography is yet to be restricted.
