Hi! I have a B.A. in journalism from Pacific Union College and am a retired magnet-drama elementary teacher. (I received my teaching credential from Cal. State U., Long Beach). I AKA Singer-Songwriter Lady Laraine, three-time Finalist with VH-1's Song of the Year contest, having placed in pop category twice and once in the Folk category. I have two (of the above-mentioned) award-winning singles available at, "Never the Same Again" and "The Thorns of the Rose". I also have videos by the same name on ("Never the Same Again") and at ("The Thorns of the Rose.") (My Singer-songwriter name is Lady Laraine). I'm interested in doing Voice Overs and writing songs music for commercials, films etc. Regarding Voice Over work, I am qualified with the right talent, education, and experience. I am also author of "The Rise and Fall of the Witch on the Bayou" (Publish America, Inc.).
In 2002, I completed a Bayou Book Tour, where I did book signings and appeared on TV morning shows in Louisiana, where my book was set including background (Cajun) music, dancing, and sound effects. I appeared on Fox, channel 4 (WDAF) in Kansas City, MO in 2003. I've done several drama and musical shows, including community theatre and extra work. I've taken drama classes in high school, college and modeling school. I'm excellent at "cold reading" and I love to "breathe" life into a commercial ad or news article! I prefer to work from home. My equipment is Studio One DAWS and Pro Tools.
