Team Lead for the F16 Block 30 Mission Planning System. Responsible for the quality assurance of software products delivered to the U.S Air Force F-16 fighter upgrade program. Conducted requirements analysis, test planning, test execution and reporting for the software project life cycle. Worked collaboratively with an integrated product team directly supporting program management with schedule analysis, project milestone requirements and risk management activities. Responsible for verification and validation of software deliveries while assessing Mission Planning System readiness for Operational Test and Evaluation phases. Conducted the Developmental Test and Evaluation (DT&E) for the F16 Block 30 Mission Planning Environment (MPE). Delivered the F16 Block 30 MPE DT&E Test Report. Activities conducted: Risk and schedule management, automation of 210 Unique Planning Component functional requirements utilizing QuickTest Professional and Visual Basic Scripting language. Implemented Design of Experiments (DOE) methodology using Pairwise testing for certain test criteria. Coordinated and executed user evaluations documenting future enhancements, confirming test assessments and gathering failure metrics in a controlled environment. Developed and executed test cases for the verification of data transfer devices interfacing with peripheral mission planning systems and aircraft avionics. Coordinated and managed aircraft load test events at Hill AFB.

2003 – 2007 Tybrin Corporation

Test Manager for the Joint Strike Fighter (F35) Safe Escape System. Oversaw all phases of software testing, managing and working with a joint service geographically dispersed project team. Responsibilities included system requirement and use case analysis, developing test plans (IEEE 829), verification and validation strategies, test management, schedule maintenance, test automation, coordination of multisite test events and training. Extensive experience with IBM's Rational software test and configuration management products. Tailored the IBM Rational Unified Test Process to support test activities and project expectations. Drafted unit level test plan. Implemented McCabe IQ Code Analysis and Test Coverage tool into unit and system level test execution and reporting processes. Developed and maintained an intranet web site for team resource distribution. Tracked resources and tasking via MSProject 2003 and reported to the Program Manager. System Test Engineer supporting the 46th Test Squadron at Eglin AFB performing Developmental Test and Evaluation of mission planning software. Served as the Test Lead for the RC-135 Unique Planning Component (UPC), responsible for requirement tracking, test plan development and test execution on alpha and beta releases. Participated in numerous design and requirement reviews. Interacted with developers, users and program managers coordinating test plan events. Developed automated test scripts using WinRunner software. Documented and tracked discrepancies and other test metrics utilizing an Access database and Mercury Interactive’s TestDirector 8.0. Supervised qualification testing on site at Northrop Grumman and Tybrin Corporation as a government representative.


Pilot: 1985-1993/99 –Thirteen years of U.S. Naval service as an F-14 and P-3 Pilot. Trained in navigation, low level
ordinance delivery, air combat maneuvering and aircraft carrier operations. Developed a thorough knowledge of all
aspects of combat mission planning. Utilized charts and automated software tools in both the planning and execution
phases of numerous joint service combat exercises. Tested aircraft hardware using standardized procedures as a
post maintenance check pilot. Also participated in numerous air test flights evaluating new radar and electronic
countermeasure systems for naval combat ships.
