Freelance Video Editor/Post Production Specialist
I am a professional Video Editor and Post Production Compositor with nearly 10 years of television experience. I am always looking for new and exciting ways to tell stories with moving pictures, animation and the performing arts. I love what I do and will never stop working until the story is effectively and artistically told.
I also govern the Midwest Association of Professional Animators, headquartered in Kansas City, MO. Check us out here: http:\\mapanim.blogspot.com

Associate Producer at KSHB-TV
May 2009 - August 2013 (4 years)
-During this time, I really focused on improving my writing and producing skills. By February 2012, I achieved a personal goal of associate producing every news program in the KSHB rotation. I also produced NBC Action News Midday for 7 months, July 2011-January 2012, during which the ratings increased by 40% for that program.

Board Member at CinemaKC
2012 - 2013 (one year) Event Planning Chair
Video Editor at KSHB-TV
May 2006 - July 2009 (3 years 3 months)
-These were influential years for my post-production skills. During this time, I mastered Final Cut Pro and was chosen to become an instructor for an editing class given to reporters/anchors. I also spent these years learning the ins and outs of Adobe After Effects and Apple Motion, to begin a life-long passion for motion graphics and animation.
In January of 2010, that passion led me to found the Midwest Association of Professional Animators in Kansas City: an organization with more than 100 active members. I still serve on the Board of Directors for that organization.
