Saint Johns County Mental Health 09/10-12/10
As an Intern at Saint Johns County Mental Health in the Social Services and Family Integrity Programs I assisted with office work, maintained the front desk and dealt one-on-one with customers. SJCMH is government-funded through Saint Johns County, and as a result I was often called on to speak with many customers who were experiencing many different hardships in their lives. I also attended therapy groups including, Parenting classes and Anger/Stress Management Groups which were court-ordered. The internship gave me the chance to work face-to-face with customers and honed my social capabilities.

Maintaining a professional atmosphere in the Department of English offices. Editing grammar and content of understudy papers. Creating spreadsheets, posters for English events and ensuring pertinent information is easily accessible to the professors. Working one on one with the English professors with individual projects to further the content of their courses.
Grace United Methodist Church 09/08-present
The internship offers the opportunity to participate in the Church Choir while gaining leadership and organizational skills. The internship program was started as an outreach program to help get college students involved with Grace United Methodist. Duties include attending rehearsals and services weekly.
Walt Disney World, Lake Buena Vista, Fl 06/06-present
Requires guest relations, handling sales and working on projects involving children's activities. I am responsible for maintaining CPR skills and keeping up the save-rate for aquatic emergencies. With respect to children's activities I have helped plan and execute Fourth of July festivities and a daily children's activities hour that attract more children to the Grand Floridian. The children's activity center at the Grand Floridian is now more popular than ever.
Walt Disney World, Lake Buena Vista, Fl 06/05-06/06
Involved guest relations and meeting daily/weekly sales goals. In charge of resolving guest issues, going above and beyond in customer service and handling a drawer of 500 dollars. Late night shifts involved balancing the cash drawer for the next day, early morning shifts involved counting out 500 dollars for the drawer.

Psychology Honor Society entails maintaining a GPA higher than any other honor society requires. In order to be inducted I need above a 3.7 overall GPA.

Being a member of Academic Honor Society involves keeping my academic performance at a high caliber. In order to be a part of this society, I maintain a 3.0 GPA and am involved in service projects around the city.
Sigma Tau Delta, English Honor Society, Executive Board 09/09-present
The Executive Board requires proficiency in planning and hosting English-related events. As part of the Executive Board I have helped plan and execute The Dead Poe Society Walk, The Mocktail Party and other fundraising events. Sigma Tau Delta has become a more active force on the campus of Flagler College as a result of my involvement on the Executive Board. As a result of my involvement in the Induction Ceremony last semester we more than doubled the number of inductees. We have gone from a virtually non-existent society to a strong voice on campus.

English Honor Society provides a forum for sharing a love of English Literature. Being a part of Sigma Tau Delta requires a 3.0 GPA, a major in English and sophomore standing. English Honor Society offers a lifetime membership and as a part of English Honor Society a member must assist with events and recruit others who are interested in learning about Sigma Tau Delta.
