Assistant to the Economics Counselor, Embassy of Portugal, Washington D.C. --performed extensive translations from Portuguese to English and English to Portuguese on proceedings from European Union (EU) meetings and speeches. Assistant to the Ambassador--edited Ambassador’s correspondence, arranged interviews, organized EU meetings, edited and translated Ambassador’s speeches and presentations during Portugal’s year of EU secretariat. Commerce Representative--represented Embassy in EU meetings on commerce and liaison between Embassy and EU delegation, U.S. Department of Commerce and other agency executives.
