Katherine graduated from Pratt in 2009 with a BFA in Communications Design: Illustration, and during her time there she studied digital illustration, print layout, flash animation, typography, and creative writing. In her sophomore year her work was in a juried show at the Munson-Williams-Proctor Museum of Art in Utica, NY. By the time she was a senior her illustrations were being published all the way from Brooklyn, NY to Clinton, NY. (Clients included The New York Observer, Forecast Media, The College Crier, Clinton Arts Council, PrattMWP.) She was also invited to sell her work and unique style at the highly-coveted Pratt Show in 2009 at the Manhattan Center, and went on to be inducted into the Pratt Circle for artistic excellence. Since graduating, she has built up a private clientele as a part-time freelance illustrator/designer and photographer. When she is not creating, she is pursuing a MA in School Psychology and teaching children art with her BS in Visual Arts Education.
