“Dave has so much experience capturing unique imagery through the lens of a camera, I never have to worry about results. He has delivered amazing work for as long as I’ve known him, and he continues to learn and try new ideas. He is innovative and creative, yet very customer oriented and friendly. You will want to call Dave Tally time after time for his consistently fine work, but also his cheerful personality. I highly recommend him to anyone.”
Chris Humphreys, Owner, Overture Creative
“Having known and worked with Dave since mid-1980, I can certainly attest to his wealth of, and variety of, expertise in the visual arts. In fact, he was extraordinarily gracious upon my first visit to his Dallas studio, helping guide my career through it’s infancy and beyond. Dave has always seemed keenly aware of the delicate balance between striving for creative excellence and coming in at or under budget. I truly miss our photographic collaborations. I heartily recommend Dave Tally to any business in need of fine, artistic photography, still or motion.”
Gary McCauley, Owner, Gary R McCauley Productions
Dave began his career as a photographer while in Japan serving in the Air Force and during his off time established a successful business specializing in travel photography. Returning to North Carolina he continued as a photographer for the prestigious Alderman Company, the world’s largest furniture photography studio.
“Working at Alderman’s was like walking on a sets right out of Hollywood, I had anything and everything I needed to create my photographs. I learned how to light at Alderman’s. I also learned how to work with crew members and management, three indispensable qualities that have followed me though life.”
Dave went on to establish one of the top still photography studios in Dallas, TX and it was his lighting expertise and the imagery that launched what became an illustrious career in motion pictures and television.
