Managed a team member in Creative Services as we conceptualized packaging designs & related collateral as necessary for Gorham, Dansk, Dr. Weil, Mario Batali, Emeril, Food & Wine, Thomas Blackshear, Kathy Ireland & Aerin brands as well as sub-brands within.
Executed projects for the various brands utilizing input from Brand Leaders which entailed & could include a total redesign of existing brand direction, photography art direction, line drawings, die line selection & possible redesign, packaging graphics, logos & creating prototype packages as a marketing visual aid for client meeting & for shows.
Marked up & approved color retouching on photography as well as directed photo shoots.
Worked within budget constraints to get the best bang for the buck to show off each brand to result in increased sales.
Acted as a liaison between marketing, sourcing, overseas packaging engineers,
translators, photographers, artists, color prep house & clients to ensure projects were completed as needed for the deadline.
Worked to maintain consistency standards for each brand.
Researched new sources for various materials needed to finish projects to clients
satisfaction & worked on photo manipulation & renderings as needed. Created new packaging designs specific to various clients such as Bed, Bath & Beyond, Macy's & Belks including Multiple anguage versions.
