Drew has recently edited for shows on HBO, Comedy Central, BET, MTV and has produced a number of branded entertainment through his production company 'a bick.antzis thing'.
He and his co-directing/producing wife Tamara Bick have a production company, 'a bick/antzis thing' which produces branded and original content.
Drew spent 3 years as In-house Director and Head of Video Production at the hugely successful website, Funny or Die. His video, the Landlord, which he directed, shot and edited, launched the site into historical proportions with the instant viral hit. He went on to direct, produce and edit over 70 videos for the site, many of which featured A-list celebrities such as Natalie Portman, Will Ferrell and Jon Hamm. Drew’s vast experience with producing content on a shoe-string budget and extreme time constraints has given him the ability to create high-end content no matter what the situation. His knowledge of HD video cameras, editing hardware, software and production gear allowed Drew to budget effectively at Funny or Die.
While managing the editing team at Funny or Die, the site was able to churn out 3-5 original videos per week. He traveled the globe to set up sister sites including Funny or Die UK and the Brazilian site Morraderir.com.
Drew studied acting under Jeff Goldblum at Playhouse West in Los Angeles and comedy improvisation and sketch writing at Chicago’s Second City and at Improv Olympic had the honor of studying under improv ‘guru’ Del Close.
Drew recently directed and edited the 15 minute short film, COMA, written by his wife Tamara Bick. comamovie.net
