Ron is an emerging freelance photographer based out of Savannah, GA.
His main focus is on conservation and nature in the eastern woodlands, wetlands, and mountains of the United States.
Having a strong background in conservation, his main body of work tells the stories of struggle for survival of wildlife, birdlife, and the beauty of our fresh and salt water marsh, beaches, rivers, streams, and lakes that are all in constant danger of vanishing.
"I don't want people to forget what we have lost, and what we still have to lose."
Ron's studies include; wildlife and forestry conservation and is a continuing student in fine art photography at the Academy of Art University in San francisco, California.
With astounding knowledge in coastal bird life and wildlife,
Ron is able to photograph without causing undue stress to the animals.
He always uses an ethical approach to anything he photographs, putting nature first
instead of himself, even if it means missing the shot.
His approach to wildlife is unique, spending many hours, days,
even months on long-term projects in order to learn about his
subject instead of just photographing it.
Ron's images are available for managed rights use, both commercial and private.
He also offers limited edition prints from hand selected images in his archive.
