James Lazaro Rumohr is a San Francisco-based director of photography of corporate, dramatic, and documentary shorts.
James has shot web promos for a range of Bay Area businesses, including San Francisco’s Meisner Technique Studio and UCSF’s Health Improvement Partnership (HIP), and Barbizon School, Stockton.
In December 2012, James teamed up with producer Michael Balke to form Straight Out the Studio, a still and motion picture design studio with a focus on high-end weddings, fashion and narrative films.
James is currently a senior in the Digital Filmmaking program of the Art Institutes of California – San Francisco where he served as Peer Mentor, Vice President of the Art Driven Club, Public Relations Officer for the Film Club, and was on the Honor Roll.
James graduates in June 2014 with a Bachelor in Digital Filmmaking and Video Production from the Art Institutes of California – San Francisco.
