Katrina is a freelance writer and editor. Her writing focuses mainly on fiction and fantasy, but she has also written poetry. She has had poems published in literary magazines like the Albion Review. She has her BFA in Creative Writing and is the founder and editor-in-cheif of Wordplay. She has written articles for over five years for Sweet Designs Magazine, an online magazine published once a month, and has worked with it's editor-in-chief editing submitted articles and interning over the summer in 2011. In college, she also worked on her school's literary magazine: Ayris and Compass Rose.
Along with writing and editing, Katrina also works as a freelance photographer. She has worked for portrait studios such as the Sears Portrait Studio and the JCPenney Portrait studio, and runs her own photography business. She has worked with models and animals, small children, and has done senior portraits and family portraits. Rates can be discussed further.
In her free time, Katrina works daily with horses. She has been riding since she was 8 years old and has trained green and abused horses since she was 16. Along with being an avid rider, she is also a pianist and nature enthusiast, spending a lot of time outdoors, hiking, camping, and snowboarding. In the summer, she travels back to the 1860s as a Civil War Reenactor, traveling all over New England and as far south as Virginia, participating in Civil War Reenactments and Events.
