I can't remember a time when I wasn't drawing things or writing stories. As I've gotten older, I've come to believe that art is a by-product of human life.
In the early 2000s, I met my best friend. She introduced me to Digital Art through her copy of PhotoShop, and taught me the basics of how to use it. From there, I made web banners and graphical icons for the forums and websites I was a member of.
I used PhotoShop in this manner for several years, purely as a hobby. I never dreamed that I would have a career as an artist. I went to college for something very non-artsy, I graduated, and I started a career...that I hated.
A few jobs after the career I hated, I decided to do something different with myself. I'm a creative person, and I am happiest when I'm making something for other people to use.
But, when creating things for myself, I tend to prefer clean lines, and green-yellow color schemes (when the mood of the piece calls for them). I draw inspiration from books and fairy tales, as well as television and movies. I love fantasy and science fiction, so long as it doesn't take itself too seriously.
