I'm a Graphic Designer/Illustrator and can say I am doing a full circle in my career; I'm now an Art Director in Strategic Communications in the Aerospace Industry. I've worked for start up companies (big and small), highly-exposed commercial, "private and restricted area" advertising and graphic material for: Northrop Grumman Corporation, National Football League (San Diego Charger Girls), Xtermite, Microsoft (Surface Tablet Campaign), Hewlett Packard and MindTouch (creators of BlackBoard Virtual Classroom Software) and even worked the Hollywood / Los Angeles industry.
Working in Aerospace, has opened my eyes even wider, when it comes to perfection in detail and why it is so important. I work alongside a communications team, staff of writers, engineers (a lot of experience here making technical illustrations), and even donated some of my time and work with the USO making visuals for fundraisers. When the Earthquake and Tsunami hit, I collaborated with JCCNC.org (Japanese Cultural Center of Northern California) in San Francisco, and partnered with Hilton, Amazon.
I know the whole Adobe Suite. I can create any style you need, make company styleguides, visual design for web, infographics, corporate/custom animated PowerPoint layouts with Master Slide Template presets for easy use, Book Layout and cover design using Adobe InDesign, highly detailed vector graphics in Adobe Illustrator, Fully-digitally-colored caricatures, realistic digital illustrations. I have pretty much done it all.
