Myshell Tabu is the perfect blend of granola and rhinestones. She is the brains and soul behind Myshell Tabu Designs. Fueled by a lifelong love of design and a need to exert some creative energy, her graphic design business was launched in 2008 (formerly Suuru Design Company) after leaving the corporate world to stay at home with her daughter.
Myshell has eight years of professional design experience, including a background in various areas of marketing and publicity - writing press releases, bookings, grant writing, web design, flyer design, and branding. Logo design is by far her favorite.
Since starting her company, Myshell has designed for It Works, South Central Los Angeles Regional Center, Lula Washington Dance Theatre, Cleo Parker Robinson Dance, BrownStone Magazine, DJ Smiles Davis and many more non-profits, solo artists, small businesses and startups.
