With a degree in the visual arts, Tracy Weaver has been an artist for over 40 years. Drawing upon his experience as an illustrator and designer, his business moves along two avenues. One is creating paintings, realistic murals, and trompe l'oeil works. The other consists of drawings, illustration, and cartooning in pencil, charcoal, conté crayon, as well as pen & ink.
Murals are rendered either on installable panels or directly onto walls, floors, and ceilings. Mr. Weaver creates visual depth and interest either by telling a story; humorous, historical or allegorical, or by presenting a puzzle worked into the subject matter. This approach engages viewers' enjoyment repeatedly after that all-important first impression.
Mr. Weaver's typical method employs acrylic polymer mediums applied over a durable substrate and finished with special coatings to protect the work from environmental damage. He works on both public and private commissions for businesses and individuals. A commissioned work is essentially a cooperative process of bringing the client's vision, dream or fancy to life in their home or place of work, a rewarding experience for both client and artist.
