Writing is a part of my DNA, and I’m passionate about honing my skills at every opportunity. When I’m not actually writing, I’m researching as I see the two going hand and hand. My ultimate goal is self-publishing my book projects. In the meantime, I’m offering my professional writing skills with a promise to provide a work of superior quality, and one with which we both can be satisfied. Now let me provide some information regarding my relevant coursework training. I have taken extensive writing courses while a student at the University of Baltimore; namely, Writing and Graphics; Writing, Editing, and Publishing; Argument and Persuasion; Literary Forms and Techniques; Syntax, Semantics, and Style; and Screenwriting. All of these I have taken, along with over 12 credits of other English writing courses. Along with my Bachelor of Science in Corporate Communications (specializing in writing) are the following honors and awards: Dean's List; Distinguished Scholar; Meritorious Scholar; Outstanding Minority Student; Maryland State Scholar; and Sigma Tau Delta (English honor society). My works include: a book of poetry (self-published), a collection of short stories, framed and/or laminated sentiments for all occasions, songs, and humorous writings. Presently, I’m doing two things. Although my main focus is on completing my novel writing projects, I’m entering into the nonfiction world of copywriting. Activities have included Expressions Literary Club, Toastmasters International, and the Black Writers' Guild.
