I am an award winning editor with over 15 years experience working in every aspect of the post production process.
As Creative Editor and Graphic Artist, I have honed my skills of design and storytelling in a visual medium using Final Cut Pro, Avid Media Composer as well as Adobe Creative Suite and Discreet Smoke. I am also experienced with lighting and shooting DSLR and other HD format video.

Working as an independent contractor on TV spots, web content and long-form television for such clients as BBDO, Story Company, McGarryBowen, DraftFCB, Euro RSCG, A. Eicoff & Company, and VSA Partners. Recent projects include Harley-Davidson, Procter & Gamble, General Electric, Kraft, Bayer, AARP and S.C. Johnson. Lead editor for two shows, ”Find Our Missing” and “Mobsters” for Towers Productions. Recently completed work for The Onion News Network, “Today Now”.
2001-2011, CREATIVE EDITOR, Optimus, Chicago
Worked on spots and long form web content for national agencies including DDB, Leo Burnett, DraftFCB and Y&R. Clients include McDonalds, Sears, Nintendo, Caterpillar, Dell, Gateway, and KFC. Collaborated with advertising agency creatives and oversaw the completion of each project through every department (pre-production, offine, graphics/vfx, telecine, audio and online) in a full service production and post house. Also responsible for mentoring assistant editors. Responsible for earning an average $1.3 million dollars per year in billings.

Learned the post process hands-on in a small boutique environment. Duties included loading dailies, client services, managing library vault, making dubs and postings, fnish session prep and supervision for national television spots for advertising agencies all over the country.
1995-1997, DUPLICATION DEPARTMENT MANAGER, Video Replay, Chicago
Managed duplication department, handling small orders to order into the thousands in various NTSC and HD formats. Also was responsible for Standards Conversions. Dealt with all customers from consumer to corporate.

Starting in the kitchen, I worked my way into the theatrical department, serving as Costumer, Spotlight Operator, Props, and Audio Engineer in a professional musical theater.
