Mary Gilliam is a free-lance development and nonprofit management consultant. Her clients represent a variety of sectors including education, healthcare, faith-based endeavors, and community development. Prior to working in the non-profit field, Mary worked in the corporate community for 30 years in diverse industries such as retail, shopping center development, energy and banking.
Since 2001, she has raised over $ 48 million dollars in funding for her clients.
Mary specializes in Grants Research and Writing, Strategic Planning, Long and Short-range Fund Development Planning, Board Development and Training, Operational Development and Grants Management. Mary earned an MBA degree from The Executive MBA Program at Tulane University in 1989, is a Certified Fundraising Executive and has won numerous local awards. Mary was named Woman of the Year in 1988 by the New Orleans Business and Professional Women. She has been married to her husband Nick since 1996. For forty-five years she lived in metro New Orleans, LA and now lives in Castle Rock, CO.
