Steve Zitkus is a producer and musician who have become known for his meticulous work in the music industry. He specializes in the application of innovative technical production, musical arrangements for sound designing and music compositions.
Steve holds an Associate Diploma in Performing Arts (Jazz Studies) and professional memberships with the Australian Performing Rights Association (APRA) and the Musical Arrangers Guild Association (MAGA).
Steve’s knowledge of all forms of recording medium is “second to none”. Reel-to-reel, Hard Disk, Pro Tools, SMPTE / LTC time coding, recording consoles, routing and signal processing are all his tools of trade. He enjoys the challenge of developing a concept into a finished product. Steve is proficient in sound designing, performing, engineering and producing music.
Steve has worked extensively, in a variety of roles within the music industry as a respected professional session guitarist, music teacher encompassing private tuition, High Schools and Colleges.
‘Cutting his teeth’ at a young age, Steve became a professional guitarist playing in cover, rock ‘n’ roll and blues bands, big bands and orchestras. Steve decided to pursue his interest in the area of sound design and production. As a competent music arranger, composer and producer, he has worked with many artists and bands. Numerous musical genres from popular scored arrangements, jazz, rock, heavy metal and soul to ambient music.
