Born in Columbus, Ohio, Jerrold Launer taught music K-12 for several years after receiving his Bachelors degree in music education from Capital University. Still feeling the need for further musical expression, he subsequently enrolled at Berklee College of Music in Boston. He earned degrees in both Music Production and Engineering as well as Music Synthesis.
Jerrold has provided music for projects for Warner Bros., ABC, PBS, Fox, A&E, TBN, DIC Entertainment and The History Channel. Jerrold has also continued teaching, currently instructing courses for UCLA Extension and the Los Angeles Recording School.
As President of Sonic Arts, a music and audio post facility in Los Angeles, Jerrold is able to focus on what really matters...the MUSIC! Jerrold's mastery of diverse styles of dramatic underscore, has allowed him to build an extensive music library. He currently lives in Los Angeles with his wife, Heidi, and three little ones
