I have been working in graphic design for almost 20 years. Before embarking on a freelance career, I designed for two large publishers--Dutton Children's Books and Rosen/Gareth Stevens Publishing--and was an Assistant Editor at Marvel Comics before that.
In 2012 I created Daniel Hosek Design & Illustration. Through DHDI I've gained extensive, diverse experience including book and magazine design, logo design, branding and creating marketing materials, museum installations, interior design and more. I'll collaborate with you from the first step to make sure your vision becomes the reality you want.
I can draw on a talented pool of freelance illustrators and photographers when the need calls for it, and I can provide expert editorial services and copy writing.
I have extensive experience taking direction and adhering to established styles guides from having worked with many licensors including Dreamworks, Discovery Channel, Disney/Marvel, Playskool and Radio Flyer. I do my own preflighting and pre-press, and I'm well-versed with the technical aspects of printing/publishing.
