I currently am employed full-time in the Public Health/Training field and am a freelance artist and writer to supplement my income. I prefer to work in traditional 2-D media, although I am proficient with Photoshop. Most of my work is figurative and representational. I would love to build my portfolio of science illustrations, particularly medical, botanical or zoological illustration. I have a strong background in the life sciences and anatomy, as evidenced by my academic background in biomedical sciences. My previous lab coursework also involved the production of complex precision renderings of plant and animal tissues. Academics: Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences, August 2005 University of South Florida (USF) Tampa, FL Relevant Coursework: • Anatomy and Physiology I & II (with labs) • Botany: Vascular Plants (with lab) • Medical Botany (with lab) • Survey of Human Disease Examples of my figurative work can be seen online at: http://www.behance.net/samrobertson http://samrobertsonart.tumblr.com/

I am a graduate with a BA in graphic design. I can do just about any visual project that you may desire, but my greatest strength is with any project you may need that requires drawing and illustration. I am very skilled with Adobe Illustrator and with Adobe Photoshop. If you need any original sketches traced digitally, or photos edited, I can do it for you easily. My one weak point (which I am constantly trying to improve) is web design. HTML is no problem and I can do CSS in a set period of time. Javascripting is the one area I am truly weak in.

The last two years I have spent as an Associate Designer, along with my Bachelors of Fashion Design from Savannah College of Art and Design, have allowed me to demonstrate my ability to effectively conceptualize new products within a brand identity, sketch, design, and develop style categories per season to creatively align my team with trends, color, and print. I believe there is a new wave that is transforming the creative industry, and I want to be part of it. I strive to create progressive garments that have a quiet sensibility and yet strengthen the originality of a customer’s wardrobe. I believe that a garment’s integrity is achieved through clean and strong silhouettes and quality construction. I design for the customer that seeks to balance ease and luxury and selects garments that can carry him or her through their day, night, and the rest of their life. I hope to speak with you soon regarding new opportunities! Here is the link to my website, where you can view some of my recent works. Enjoy! http://kelleylobona.wordpress.com

Behind this wrinkled visage hums a brain that feeds on concept design. I have 20 years of duty on the front lines as an advertising copywriter and I have the scars to prove it. I've earned the right to be the eccentric writer I've always wanted to be - the kind of writer you've always wanted to work with. Bottom line, with so many ways to communicate, words still live in the heart of each. I'm fluent in many different voices. 1993 -1999 Copywriter - Emma Creative, Ashland, OR 2000 - 2009 Creative Director - The Maentz Agency, Medford, OR 2009 - 2012 Senior Copywriter - Steelhead Advertising, Portland, OR

I have designed over 500 books and have been in the printing and publishing business owning my own company for over 22 years. I am experienced in all aspects of book publishing as it was our primary function to help those wanting to self-publish. We offered everything from editing, formatting, proofing, designing and marketing, taking the manuscript to THE finished product. I am a professional graphic designer with extensive experience in book cover and interior book design. I excel in Photoshop and working with images. I also excel in InDesign and interior book formatting. I am well aware of the specifications of Amazon, Lightning Source, Ingram, and most other sources for book production. We did our own printing in-house, paperback books of all sizes and hard cover books, including jackets if wanted. Leather binding was our specialty. I also owned and published a 48 page monthly newspaper, which I and my team designed from back to front. I would love to work with you on your project. It is, and always will be, my goal to exceed the need and work with you until you are totally satisfied with my services. Thank you, Sandy Knowles
