This Cartoon Caricature is a great example of the personal detailing that I like to add to my commissions. This piece was a 60th Birthday Gift. The Client [my BEST client] provided me with a couple of paragraphs on the subject, describing his background, job, family, interests, hobbies and special accomplishments. So the Cartoon indicates: He lives near the Golden Gate Bridge, works for the County of San Mateo, likes golf and Sudoku, is associated with Special Olympics, and has made a hole-in-one while golfing. The football balloon represents his high school athletic career, and the Lacrosse items reference to his college career. The names of his wife and sons are on hot-air balloons, and the names of the clients are hidden around in the background.

Big Booty Santa - This drawing for the 20011 version of my annual Christmas Magnet give-away - preschooler class design. Ballpoint Pen and Colored Marker - the figure is pulled from a more complex, in-process, drawing called "North Pole Santa." The name of the magnet derives from both Santa's bountiful sack and Santa's big - well - "booty."

Superteen 15, Pg. 1 of 2 - Fifteen is probably the best installment of the series, it certain is my personal favorite. The Max and T.J. sequence was how I wanted the strip to read all along. There is a very nice opening long shot, consistent art, even in the long shots, and really solid storytelling and mood. The color worked really well to enhance the mood on this installment.
