About Me:
I have been teaching art since I graduated from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. My students often ask me when I started drawing and I say, "when I could hold a pencil." I never remember a time when art wasn't a major part of my life, and I always admire the way children gravitate toward it. Picasso said, "Every child is an artist, the problem is to remain one once he grows up." I have found that even in my adult life I need art and creative expression the way a child does.
The media I work in includes pencil, pen and ink, charcoal, acrylics and watercolor. My faith influences the subject matter I create. My recent work includes charcoal drawings on brown paper of self portraits and still lifes, watercolors of my travels to Mexico, and pen and ink drawings that incorporate portions
