Alice In Wonderland - The Mock Turtle They had not gone far before they saw the Mock Turtle in the distance, sitting sad and lonely on a little ledge of rock, and, as they came nearer , Alice could hear him sighing as if his heart would break. She pitied him deeply. "What is his sorrow?" she asked the Gryphon, and the Gryphon answered, "Very nearly in the same words as before, It's all his fancy, that: he hasn't got no sorrow, you know. Come on!" So they went up to the Mock Turtle, who looked at them with large eyes full of tears, but said nothing. "This here young lady," said the Gryphon, she wants for to know your history, she do.""I'll tell it her," said the Mock Turtle in a deep, hollow tone: "Sit down, both of you, and don't speak a word till I've finished." So they sat down, and nobody spoke for some minutes. Alice thought to herself,"I don't see how he can EVEN finish, if he doesn't begin." But she waited patiently.

Alice In Wonderland - The Mad Tea Party "There was a table set out under a tree in front of the house, and the March Hare and the Hatter were having tea at it. A Dormouse was sitting between them, fast asleep, and the other two were using it as a cushion, resting their elbows on it, and the talking over its head. "Very uncomfortable for the dormouse," thought Alice; "only, as it's asleep, I suppose it doesn't mind."

Aesop's Fable - The Ant And The Grasshopper In a field one summer's day, a grasshopper was hopping about, chirping and singing to its heart's content. A group of ants walked by, grunting as they struggled to carry plump kernels of corn. "Where are you going with those heavy things," aksed the grasshopper. Without stopping, the first ant replied, "To our ant hil. This is the third kernel I've delivered today." "Why not come and sing with me," teased the grasshopper, "instead of working so hard?" "We are helping to store food for the winter," said the ant, "and think you should do the same." "Winter is far away, and it's a glorious day to play," sang the grasshopper. But the ants went on their way and continued their hard work...

Aesop's Fable - The Dog And The Hare. A Hound having started a Hare on the hillside pursued her for some distance, at one time biting her with his teeth as if he would take her life, and at another fawning upon her, as if in play with another dog. The Hare said to him, "I wish you could act sincerely by me, and show yourself in your true colours. If you are a friend, why do you bite me so hard? If an enemy, why do you fawn on me?"

About Me:
Dillon Shea is a freelance illustrator living in Philadelphia, and got his bachelor
degree at the University of the Arts . Ever since a kid, he could be found
doodling on scrap paper to sketchbooks, and has never stopped since. When
he is not illustrating, he can be found making electronic music or playing the
drums, and has a major obsession with collecting retro things.

He was also the third place winner in the Senior Thesis Ely Exhibition during
his career at the Univerisity of the Arts for creating a short superhero styled
comic book with an inspired look from the Scott Pilgrim manga styled comics,
