Dave, received your phone message, and appreciate your interest. If you'd like, I can send a sample of poems, with some idea of the kind of illustrations that I am looking for. My target buyer is a 50-ish grandparent who reads to grandchildren (prototype child is 7 y.o. boy). Poems are whimsical, somewhat nostalgic, not preachy but often with somewhat of a lesson. I liked your portfolio and looks very close to what I am looking for. As mentioned I need about 80 illustrations, most pretty simple. Price is negotiable, with bonus available for early submission. About Me:
Hello!, My name is David Adams, and I am a freelance cartoonist operating out of Fort Wayne Indiana. I bring a deep passion for classic cartooning styles in ink, while also being well versed in digital illustration software. I have worked professionally as a live caricature artist around the United States, and in that time developed a style that is perfectly suited for today's illustration preferences. I have also worked for years in children's education, and this experience has given me a keen insight on how to communicate ideas to growing minds.
