The couple asked me to paint their sons at their summer vacation spot in Traverse City, Michigan. I directed the mother on how to compose the picture with the dog in the water and I worked from those photos. It measures 30 x 40 inches on fine watercolor paper.

This is a watercolor painting of twin nine year old boys. They are my nephews and they live in Chicago. Their father took the pic with his iPhone. This was done in a pointillist style reminiscent of the iPhone grain quality in low light. Hope you like this example of my work.
