Recently wrote this for a screen play competition, where we were given a subject, and character, and a genre and had 8 days to write a 12 pg script. My "heat" of the competition was given SCI-FI, PAPARAZZI, and A BODYGUARD. I think I did a decent job, considering my work schedule limited me to writing it in two days.

Sample scene written for a job. The premise given was "A point guard wins the big game, scores the most points". The story evolved into a much more complex situation, obviously. This scene takes place before the climax of the feature.

"Landfall" -- I felt like writing something spontaneously, so I banged this out in an hour or so. I feel it's pretty honest, though might be lacking in elegance.

"About Six Months"
Short film about Brian who's dying from brain cancer and has about six months left to live. His last wish before he goes is to have a kid, so that he can contribute something to the world. Problem is Brian is gay. With the help of his childhood friend Whitney, Brian sets out to try and find a way, any way, to have a baby before time runs out.
Produced in 2010. Wrapping up post-production come August 2011.

About Me:
I am a writer. I like to write. I write for profit, but most importantly, I write because I love it. I graduated with an Associate degree in Cinema Studies from Suffolk County Community College in 2005 and received a BFA in Radio, Television, and Film from the University of North Texas. I have written over three dozen short scripts and three feature-length scripts (a few of the short scripts were produced and directed by myself, as well). I work extremely well under pressure, having competed in 48 hr film races and time- constrained Screenwriting competitions. Also, I work very well when give specific boundries or when given "prompts". If you have a character in mind that you've been looking to get in to a script, or perhaps you love zombie movies and westerns so much that you ...
