Thank you, Amy for responding.
I watched your short animations and appreciated your talents.
But I've now got 7 illustrators lined up with half of them having comic book/graphic novel
experience. The competition is fierce as the arts never pay enough.
Have you tried the NFB for mentorship? (Montreal is one of their hub cities.) Investigated funding for female animators?
All the best with your continued success, Amy. (One day, I hope to see you accepting an Oscar for best
short animation film.)

If you want to pursue comic/graphic novel illustration, I can think of no better/comprehension resource than Evan Waterman's opus on the subject. (And it's accessible for free.) Just google: Taking A Comic From Start to
Finish by Evan Waterman. You can either download it as a pdf or print the entire 182 page tome.
