There are few things in life that give me more joy than fixing grammar mistakes and making sense of print that needs to be tweaked. I have an English degree from Jacksonville University in Jacksonville, Florida. After graduating, I worked in the Dean's Office at the University of Florida, editing student records, newsletters, and other Dean's Office publications. I was also was a program assistant, planning events and arranging travel for the Historic Preservation department. After that, I worked with an on-base Navy newspaper writing, editing, and photographing for articles. I have edited several novels and substitute for English classes. I also edit monthly newsletters and other publications for a Navy command's Family Readiness Group, as well as their wives' group.
